GOLDEN SHELLS. This design created by Whit Haydn and Chef Anton. Main complaint: the "new" product has a very similar name to the more expensive Haydn/Anton product. Murphy's Magic Supplies
In the world of magic, tricks and effects are very difficult to protect legally and, as a result, many unscrupulous dealers simply copy the creations of others without permission.
In an effort to help those who wish to buy ethically and support the original creators while avoiding the "new" versions of their effects, Magic Fakers was set up.

I may be wrong but about 20 years ago I had sets of aluminum cast walnut shells made by a friend in Austria who had a casting factory.
I released a number of the shells and these were all gold plated. I am not sure if I was the first to do so but it is quite possible.
